There is very little left until the New Year! Therefore, our lesson will be devoted to creating the main New Year's attribute - a Christmas tree!!! Let it be small, but with positive energy. And if you involve children in the process, then everyone will be provided with a good mood and bright memories for the whole year.

The materials are the simplest and most affordable: corrugated paper, cardboard, beads, satin ribbons, PVA glue (for children's creativity) or hot glue gun (for adults).

The base will be a cone; it can be made of either cardboard (for children's creativity) or polystyrene foam.

So let's start creating Christmas tree made of corrugated paper. Let's look at 3 different options based on a cone.

A fluffy three-dimensional Christmas tree made of corrugated paper turns out to be completely simple in technology.

Option 1: Christmas tree made of corrugated paper petals

1. Cut strips of corrugated paper of the desired shade of color measuring 2.5-3 cm x 10 cm along the corrugation lines.

2. Twist the strip in the middle. Let's fold it in half. Make the “petal” blank convex by stretching both layers of paper in the middle of the petal.

3. Glue the blanks onto the cone in rows from bottom to top. Each next row must cover at least half the previous one. The “petals” should be bent outward. Each next row is glued in a checkerboard pattern.

The base of the cone, if necessary, can be covered with a circle of corrugated paper of the required diameter.

The Christmas tree is ready! It can be decorated according to your wishes.

Option 2: Christmas tree made from corrugated paper shuttlecocks

For such a Christmas tree you will additionally need: thread and needle.

1. If necessary, close the base of the cone (if the base is a foam cone).

2. Cut long strips of corrugated paper 3-4 cm wide and assemble them onto a thread.

3. Glue the assembled tape to the cone in a spiral, starting from the bottom.

4. The curved crown can be made using 3mm diameter craft wire. We wrap the top of the head with paper in a spiral and bend it.

5. Glue decorations onto the shuttlecocks. And we decorate the top with a large bead and ribbons.

“Shuttlecocks” can be glued either in a spiral or in rows, alternating colors.

Option 3: Christmas tree made of corrugated paper using the cutting method

For this version of the Christmas tree, it is more convenient to use a cardboard cone. You will also need a pencil or an empty pen case. With PVA glue, it is better to use a pen case or a light-colored pencil so as not to stain the paper.

1. The paper must first be cut into strips 3 cm wide, and then each strip must be cut into 3x3 cm squares.

2. Take one square on the index finger of your left hand. You have a pencil in your right hand. Place the blunt part of the pencil in the middle of the paper and scroll the workpiece, pressing it with your fingers, as if twisting a pencil with a paper square.

3. Let’s start “cutting” our Christmas tree. We dip each “flower” in glue and place it on the surface of the cone, pressing lightly, remove the rod. I will glue in a spiral, so I immediately marked the markings on the cone.

You can use one color or make the Christmas tree multi-colored. Imagine!!!

We took three colors of paper that match each other, and you can use any other shade that you like.

In addition to corrugated paper, you will need:

• threads of any color
• scissors
• stapler
• a small vase in which the Christmas tree will stand
• wooden kebab stick
• ruler

1. First of all, we start by making blank circles; they will have different diameters. The largest should be 25 cm, and the smallest 5 cm. Let's start with the first one, for this we cut out two rectangles from corrugated paper.
   
2. Using simple manipulations, we combine both into an accordion.
   
3. Then you need to trim both edges so that corners are formed.
   
4. Bend the accordion exactly in the middle and fold it to form a fan.
   
5. From the bottom side, you now need to carefully secure both edges with a stapler.
   
6. We repeat the steps completely and make the same fan from the second rectangle.
   
7. Now, using the same stapler, we connect the resulting two blanks along the edges.
   
8. We thread a thread through the middle, secure the structure and knit a regular knot.
   
9. It is necessary to make 12 such blanks of different colors, and each new circle should be smaller in diameter than the previous one. We distribute them so that all three colors replace each other.
   
10. When everything is ready, it’s the vase’s turn. We fill it with material with which we can secure the base of our Christmas tree made of corrugated paper. To do this, you can use small seashells, multi-colored plastic pebbles for decoration, or even regular cereal.
    
11. On the resulting base we string the first circle of paper, the largest in diameter.
    
12. The second layer should be made from the second largest circle.
    
13. Then comes the turn of the third skirt, so we continue to string multi-colored layers of the future New Year's beauty until the very end.

A new beautiful and simple craft for the New Year has become a tradition in our family. Today we will have a three-dimensional Christmas tree made of corrugated paper. This Christmas tree can decorate a window, bedside table or desk in the office. A master class and step-by-step photo will help you make such a simple craft for the New Year 2020.

We will need:

• A4 cardboard;
• paper scissors;
• corrugated paper - available in several colors;
• PVA glue with a brush;
• thin tape is better;

How to make a Christmas tree from corrugated paper with your own hands

We take cardboard and roll it into a cone like for seeds. We glue the edges of the joints along the surface so that the cone does not unfold. We cut the base so that the cone stands level on the surface without slopes. The main shape for the Christmas tree is ready.

Take corrugated paper and cut it into rectangles measuring 7 cm by 4 cm. We fold each resulting rectangle in half with a book and coat the edges parallel to the fold with glue with a thin strip. Glue it together. We cut the fold into strips up to the glued edges in 1 cm increments and without cutting 1 cm to the edge. We assemble our Christmas tree starting from the bottom. We retreat 2.5 cm from the edge and glue our branches to the shape in a circle. We trim the branches of the Christmas tree carefully, apply glue thinly and only along the uncut edge.

We glue each next row 2 cm higher than the one already glued. We glue the paper branches of the Christmas tree to the very top. The last branch will need to be reduced in width to make a joint into a joint.

We decorate the branches of our three-dimensional Christmas tree like other crafts for the New Year 2020. We take rhinestones or any other light beads you have and glue them onto the cut strips-branches in any order. Glue a large bead like a star onto the top of the head.
