DIY sunshine: MK on making crafts for kindergarten with step-by-step photos and videos. DIY paper sun craft for kindergarten. Step-by-step master class with photos How to make a sun out of paper

Making a sun with your own hands can be both a pleasant and useful pastime, and a real challenge. Handicraft is an activity with a child that helps to develop, lifts the mood, and becomes a vivid memory.

On the other hand, it is a difficult task that takes many parents by surprise. A simple request to help make the sun leads to a dead end with many questions.

The main problem is the lack of an idea. After all, the presentation of the final result makes it possible to decide on the materials, the progress of work and the satisfaction that the set goals have been achieved to the maximum.

What does the sun look like?

Since the central element is a circle, you can give free rein to your imagination when making rays. They can be the same or different lengths, straight or wavy, flat or voluminous, etc.

When creating the face of a handmade character, you can draw or make unusual eyes, a wide smile, freckles, and blush.

The complexity of manufacturing individual parts and attaching them to each other should primarily depend on the participants in the process and their capabilities. The younger the child is, the simpler the idea should be.

Paper beauty

Crafting a paper sun is the easiest option for creativity, regardless of age group. At the initial stage, you should make two identical circles. One will serve as the base to which the rays will be attached, and the second will become the face of the sun.

Rays can be made in the following ways:

  • Cut rectangular strips from multi-colored paper, fold each of them in half without smoothing the bend. Thus, volumetric rays will be obtained.
  • Twist multi-colored rectangles onto a wooden skewer or knitting needle.
  • Cut out wavy strips that look like flames.
  • Make blanks from white paper and paint them with plasticine, cereal, beads or glitter.
  • Fold the paper like an accordion or cut out many palms.

After making the required number of rays, they must be attached between the base circle and the previously drawn “face” circle.

Plastic masterpieces

An excellent craft, a radiant sun, will be made from unnecessary disks. They can be used as a base or as rays. When working with this material, you will need hot glue.

You can also fasten the elements together using thin wire or strong nylon thread, after making holes in the disks.

Unusual creations come out of disposable tableware. A decorated plate is used as a base, and forks, spoons or cocktail straws serve as beams. To connect the structure, a universal glue is sufficient.

Fabric and thread

How to make a sun craft from these materials without sewing? The easiest way is felt applique. The parts can be cut out and glued together.

Knitting threads can be braided or wrapped around sticks, thus creating original “streams of light.”

A knitted sun will be a decoration for any children's room or a favorite toy for a child.

Satin ribbons and organza can also be safely used to create the sun.

Tasty and tasteless creation

To create a masterpiece, you can take products. Pasta such as spaghetti or spirals will help create voluminous and unusual rays.

Wheat or rice breads are suitable as a base.

Another option is salt dough. It is easy to prepare at home, and working with it is as simple as with plasticine. You should not taste these products, despite the fact that they are made from natural ingredients.

You can make a delicious sunshine from caramel or shortcrust pastry.

Natural materials

Autumn is the time to use leaves for creativity. Beautiful leaves in rich yellow, orange or even fiery red are perfect for needlework.

Playground ideas

A craft sun made from tires will be a wonderful decoration for any yard. A bright character will bring a wonderful mood to both children and adults. This type of needlework is more suitable for the stronger sex.

To create a street masterpiece, you need an old tire, plastic bottles, and paint. Holes are made in the tire into which the ray bottles will then be attached.

Parts can be painted both before and after assembly of the structure. To ensure that the paint on plastic bottles lasts longer, paint on the inside, not the outside.

The finished craft can be placed on a tree or fence, or buried in the ground. It is best to draw the face on a circle cut out of plywood.

You can get some inspiration by looking at photos of sun crafts. The idea you like will be a wonderful start in creating your own masterpiece.

Imagination and courage in choosing materials will help every child or adult create an incredibly affectionate and bright sun. And most importantly, pleasant emotions will be brought not only by the end result, but also by the work process itself.

Photo crafts sun

Maslenitsa is just around the corner, which is famous for its traditions, fun festivities for a whole week and eating delicious pancakes. At this time, people say goodbye to winter and joyfully welcome spring. Therefore, as a craft for Maslenitsa, you can make an original sun from a disk and colored paper.

Necessary materials:

  • double-sided sheets of yellow color;
  • felt-tip pen or marker for drawing a face;
  • unnecessary disk for the base of the craft;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

Stages of creating crafts for Maslenitsa:

Our sun will be yellow and orange. Therefore, for the middle we use a dark shade of paper. Draw a circle that will be half the diameter of the disk. Then we cut it along the contour using scissors.

Apply glue to the central part of the disk and attach a cut out circle of colored paper to it. We get this sun that needs to dry out a little.

In the meantime, let's move on to making the rays. We will make them from bright yellow paper. We mark a 10 x 1 cm marking on the sheet using a ruler and a simple pencil. Cut out at least 28 pieces.

Then we bend each strip and apply glue to their edges, which will help them connect. This way we get three-dimensional rays of the sun, which we will later attach to the disk.

Apply glue to the tip of the strip and glue it to the back of the disk. We will do the same with the second strip and the third. You can also use double-sided tape or glue from a hot glue gun to make the craft quickly and neatly.

We continue to glue the yellow rays of the sun one by one along the contour of the disk, which has a round shape.

As a result, we get a lot of pretty rays around the sun.

Finally, draw a cute happy face on the orange part of the craft, with big eyes, a nose, eyelashes, freckles and a smile. If you have difficulty drawing, you can look for a cartoon face in magazines or the Internet and print and cut it out.

A beautiful craft in the form of a bright sun made of colored paper and a disk is ready! It is perfect for decorating any corner in a child’s room for Maslenitsa, because you can hang it by one of the rays or glue an additional cord.

You can make such a wonderful card with the sun and give it to anyone, be it mom on March 8, or dad for his birthday. Making such a postcard is not at all difficult if you put in the effort, especially under the guidance of an adult. And our step-by-step master class will help, tell you in what order what needs to be cut out, pasted and drawn in order to get a beautiful card that you won’t be ashamed to give.

Master class on making postcards

We will need: a sheet of white A4 paper, colored paper, glue, felt-tip pens.

Divide a sheet of white paper into 3 equal parts using vertical lines. The outer parts are still in half. We designate “ears” - the future sun. Trim off the excess. We bend it, bending the ears outward.

Cut colored paper into strips 0.5 cm thick. From yellow paper we cut out a circle to the size of the “ears”.

We bend strips of colored paper in half and glue the ends together. You will get multi-colored rays of the sun.

We glue the “rays” onto the “ears”.

We glue a yellow circle on top, cut it in half so that the card can open. We draw the sun's eyes and mouth to make a cute face. And inside you can paste a printed poem with congratulations or write your own congratulations and draw flowers. The postcard is ready.

For children. One of the varieties of origami is modular. It involves manufacturing using separate modules folded from paper. This is exactly what the sun is, the stages of its creation are shown in our master class.

To make it you will need square sheets of paper. You can use one color or several. We took red, yellow and orange.

Fold one of the sheets along two diagonals.

Then we bend each of its corners towards the center.

We make folds on both sides towards the center line so that the workpiece takes on the shape of a rhombus.

Let's turn it over to the other side and bend the top corner.

Now all that remains is to fold the blank of the future ray in half lengthwise.

You need to make several of the same modules from paper of a different color.

Next, we begin to collect our sun. To do this, insert the lower edge of one of the blanks into the lower part of the other blank from the opposite side. You can assemble the modules in any color order you like.

We are gradually continuing to work on connecting the modules. Our sun is beginning to take on the appearance of a circle.

We close all the rays into a circle when we see that we have an even inner circle. As a result, our sun is ready.

This craft can be made by elementary school students, as well as preparatory group children in collaboration with a teacher. The master class will be useful for teachers who work with children of this age, as well as for parents.

The Sun stretched out,
Your rays,
To my window,
On summer days.
Looks so affectionately
And, warmed by warmth,
Still doesn't go away.
Know that you like the house!
A. Teslenko

Sunshine in the sky
He gets up before everyone else.
Goes to bed late
How does he not get tired?
I couldn't do that -
Along his path
In one day
The sky will go through everything!
A. Malaev

Children's riddles about the sun:

At night it will hide -
It will become dark in the yard.
In the morning again at our window
The joyful... (sun) is beating!

Yellow beret
Dressed for heaven.
(Sun)

Red Antoshka
Looked out the window.
Where it was damp it was grey.
Immediately everything became cheerful.
(Sun)

What is this yellow ball?
It jumps through the forests after us.
The ray gilds the window,
They call him...

Although without legs and without arms,
A circle walks across the sky.
He only walks during the day.
We won't find the circle at night.
Guess what the circle is
Lights up everything around?
It's on a clear day at the window
The gentle light shines... (Sun)!

Necessary materials:

- cardboard,
- yellow fabric,
- padding polyester,
- yellow sewing thread,
- pencil, scissors, needle,
- wooden skewer,
- hot glue gun (glue “Master”, “Titan”),
- decorative outline (black, red).
Execution Sequence
1. Cut out a circle from thick cardboard - the basis of our souvenir. The size can be any, circle a suitable round object. From padding polyester (you can also use thin foam rubber or a cotton pad) we cut out the same circle.
2. Cut out a larger circle from yellow fabric, allowance 1-1.5 cm.

3. Place a piece of padding polyester on a cardboard circle, place a circle of fabric on top, and turn it over. Now the part - a circle of fabric - needs to be assembled and pulled together with a seam over the edge. After tightening, do not forget to secure the thread with a loop stitch.

To make the part more even, you can also pull together the opposite sides of the circle in several places.

If desired, this stage can be replaced by working with glue. To do this, we make cuts on the fabric circle, not reaching the base (cardboard circle) 0.2-0.3 cm. Then we fix the allowances with glue on the wrong side.

4. We make rays for our sun.
To do this, cut out a rectangle 3-4 cm wide from yellow fabric (thick, like “Gabardine”), but the length depends on the size of the base circle. Let adults help you calculate: the size of the circle is 3.14xd (the diameter of the circle). Add 2 cm to the result - this will be the length of our rectangle. We begin to pull out one thread at a time along the rectangle (lengthwise). We continue until 0.5-0.7 cm of tissue remains untouched. It turned out to be a fringe.

Glue the fringe from the wrong side around the entire circle.

5. Glue the wooden skewer.

6. From thick fabric or yellow cardboard, cut out a circle slightly smaller than the base, glue it on the wrong side, covering the junction of the rays and the stick (skewers).

7. All that remains is to draw our sun’s eyes and mouth. For work we use decorative contours, you can simply use acrylic paint and a brush.

That's all! Our sunshine is ready!
If you get creative, rays can be made from anything.

For example, from a household sponge (top layer or foam rubber), waste material - from packaging with cells from a box of chocolates.
You can give the sun bangs or even braids with bows. Draw a nose (or make one) with freckles, etc.
After all, creativity is limitless! You can start from any idea and come up with something of your own!
You can give the finished sunshine as a gift or leave it at home, let it make you happy every day, especially when it’s cloudy outside. For example, stick a stick into a flower pot.
